• Cousins Kevin, Karen and Diane in Lancashire for all their work in laying the foundations for this website.  Without their help, support and friendship over a very short period of time, I  definitely wouldn’t have got this far so quickly.  For this I am eternally grateful.

• Pamela and Gordon in Canada who have taken the time to indulge me in their stories and reminiscences of their childhoods in Lancashire.
